Market day in Uzes.
Today and yesterday!
The square and surrounding streets are teeming with the masses of fellow humans!
Clothing, brass knuckles, knives, spices, sausages, vegetables, linens, tableware, household gadgets, meat, poultry, cheese, wine, condiments, books, hardware, nuts, fruit, pottery, art, you name it….
The spice guy is still here – same guy, same stall, same location as three years ago. Now we are re-supplied with Tajine spice and Ras Al Hanout.
Its a busy place and further reinforcement for my theory that walking behaviour reflects driving behaviour! With that in mind; now just imagine (if you can) a German market…

Nothing but garlic at this stall.
Oysters and beans.

Chickens in.

Chickens out.

Olives and Tapanade.
Fromage.

And lunch – well worth the walk about.
Incredible! It makes the Granville Market in Vancouver look like a poor cousin!
