Looking down lake Lucerne
It’s raining today so we decided to stay home and have a relax day. Just walked about town and looked around.

All we can see of the Pilatus mountain – most of the time hidden in the clouds. Lucerne is on the shore in front of the mountain.

Espresso and a nice pastry.

Traditional older house (with turret).

Rhododendrons in bloom.
Fine organ in the Catholic church.
A quiet street.
That’s our place – 2nd and 3rd balconies from the left end top floor.

This is the green roof over the apartments. Several others places have them.

Marg points out Weggis on the tourist poster.
And here is the local ferry leaving Weggis. Long slim boats that move around the lake quite quickly.
Lastly we think you should get your tickets early to avoid the rush!

Tomorrow Lucerne rain or shine. M&M.
beautiful place…..looks pretty remote!
