Just a day for doing nothing in particular and preparing for our move to Wals Austria tomorrow. Spot tracking is now active and the Garmin has found the new GPS satellites.
The City of Leipzig is completely overrun with attendees to the Katholikentag event. Even more arriving as the weekend is starting. Time to get out of town…its beginning to be a problem walking anywhere.
We took a stroll over to the oldest cemetery in Leipzig. Alter Johannisfriedhof. A quiet space with many large trees and next to the Museum of Musical Instruments. We did not go into the museum as it was also the centre of youth activities for the event and was full of energy and children.
Some interesting grave works and statues.
Seems like a favourite pastime has been beheading the statues.
Here is a miscellaneous item I have never seen at home.
In the bathroom of the apartment right over the toilet (where the man of the house can’t miss seeing it) is the water meter – kind of raises your awareness!
